I was trying to add some 'alias' commands for my common keyboard
keystrokes,
but they didn't last between logon's much less reboots.

How can I append to my 'alias's and make them 'stick' between logon's?

find / -iname bash*

 only shows multiple .../bash_history files.

Where can I edit my profile ?  Slakware-3.9.0  linux-2.0.37pre10
