Hi,

I haven't got any experience at all with linux so far, so I bought
RH6.0 a few days ago and installed it. First I had a lot of problems
with the amount of memory I have in my computer, but that's solved.
The next problem I have is this: I have a SCSI hd in my computer with
on the first partition windows98 and on the second linux. When I want
to start Linux, I have to use a boot disk (wich works fine, but is a
little slow). Now I want to make a 'menu' in my config.sys file wich
enables me to choose between linux and win98. I copied the file
loadlin.exe and the linux kernel to the first partition and modified
the config.sys file. Works ok, but when I choose linux I eventually
get the message 'kernel panic' after witch the computer hangs. I did
exactly what they say in the manual, but I still get the error. What
     am I doing wrong?

     Thanks
     Peter
