I am trying to get my redhat 5.2 to connect to the Internet. I have read
numerous FAQs, man pages and pieces of various books on the subject, and
every one says to do something different. I have configured the settings
for my static IP connection, but now I want to create a dialup and
disconnect script. I was trying to do this and I guess I messed something
up somehow, because now when I boot up linux, I see the packages load until
I see: "Sendmail: Sendmail" the system then just hangs. Any ideas about
what could be wrong, and any pointers about where I could look for less
confusing directions on how to create these dialup scripts? You can post it
to the list, or cc it to me, either way I'll appreciate the help.
