Having just come through this process and obtaining some very good help, I'd
suggest that you try KPPP and other than putting in your own username,
password and phone number for ISP access, just take the defaults. If you're
not getting connected at all, you might need to look at what sort of
authentication your ISP is using and make sure you're set up and using it
properly.
