Althought Redhat might cost that much, there are still FREE
distributions of LINUX, I have Debian on my machine and you can get it
for free.
Plus, I did buy SuSE 6.1 and it cost me $35.00, however, the cost of
Windows98, which has nothing on it of any real value Costs $189.00 for a
complete install. SuSE 6.1 had over 1300 Applications with it. Hence, I
feel LINUX is a great deal. If we want more companies to provide
software, that is going to work on LINUX, we will have to pay something.
