Hi,

        What programs are you comparing? Are you running an accelerated X
server for you video card, or are you running the VGA / SVGA X servers? 

        I dont think you will need more than 128M for swap space since you
already have 192M of RAM. However, here is how you can do it :

1.  Do 'cat /proc/meminfo' and confirm that swap is not being used. If it
is, you will need to close programs until that is so.
2.  Do 'swapoff'.
3.  Unmount the partition from which you are going to free up some space.
Use fdisk / cfdisk /whatever tool that Caldera has to repartion the drive.
And save the changes.
4.  Reboot. This is very important and is one of the few instances in
Linux where I have found that a reboot _is_ required.
