I didn't take the time to look it up, but this modem is almost surely an HSP
modem (that is, a "Winmodem"), which won't work with Linux. Almost all pci
modems are HSP, including at least some USRs. To be certain, though, look it
up yourself at URL http://www.o2.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html .
