I'm responding mainly because I haven't seen any other responses, not
because I can help at this stage. I do want to suggest that you repost this
request, in slightly more informative form.

1. Explain your network needs a bit more clearly. How does the LAN, or the
Linux host, or whatever, connect to the Internet? I can't tell if you have
another gateway on the LAN, are trying to get a connection done using pppd,
or something else. As I say below, your program output is almost unreadable,
but it looks to me like the Linux host is trying to use itself as its
default gateway ... that can't be right, but I don't know in what way it is
wrong without more information from you.

2. Tell us what isn't working. You spend a lot of time describing what you
did, then none telling us what errors or failures you are seeing.

3. Your presentation of output like "route -n" and "ifconfig" uses an
innovative style to display information that is hard to present in e-mail.
Alas, it is also, at least for me, completely unreadable. The standard
output of these programs has its flaws, but at least I am used to them, as
are, I imagine, others who troubleshoot network connectivity problems.
Please post any needed outout in its normal form, including reposting
anything in this message that we need to see.
