i have been running suse 6.2.

i have a problems with output of the "who" command. when i telnet from
anyother machine, login and give the w commnad it seems to returns an idle
time of login for the user related to how long the system has been running
or some such. it does not do this when i sit on the terminal of the
machine and login. this is not what the w command is supposed to do. can
anyone help on how the w command processes and puts out data? what do i do
to rectify this. i give below one of those outputs.
