Lawson,
Thank you again. I installed the Netscape for Linux 2.0 (glibc) this
morning and everything appears to be working just fine. :o)

Waiting awhile sounds like an approach I'd favor. How long do you
figure 'awhile' will be?

It's 2.0.7 on mine.

The only windows app. I wanna run is Free Agent (the old one, for
win3). It was the only windows app. I used when I was running Warp.
(Unless someone can recommend a good off-line news reader)
I'm gonna read up on wine and try to decide what to do. Thanks for the
advice.

Well, it's only in netscape for going to the top or bottom of a web page
that they don't work. Seem to work everywhere else. Also, they did
work for about 5 minutes yesterday, then mysteriously stopped. I'm not
aware of anything I did to cause the changes. I'm kinda surprised that
upgrading to v. 4.7 didn't correct it though.
Anyway, xmodmap shows (in part):
79 0xff95 (KP_Home) 0xffb7 (KP_7), and
87 0xff9c (KP_End) 0xffb1 (KP_1)
It's Greek to me ;)
Thanks again.
Tom - still a newbie, just not as bad.
