There is one comment on what looks like you ethernet card, that is.
Linksys EtherPCI
Note: Recent cards use the similar PNIC chip, which requires a v0.83 or later
Tulip driver.
Is this your card ???
If thats correct, then kernel 2.2.5 which you have is what you need.
