Then use; make bla bla 2>&1 &> warnigs-make-1
then when the compile has finished;
cat warnings-make-1 | grep warning
and
tail warnings-make-1
in the output of the tail command you will get the last few lines of make,
telling you if the compile was succsessfull or not, you could even grep for
"error".
The version with 2.2.5 IS the stable release period, so really you dont need to
recompile.

Same as Redhat 6.1 then all compiles her without problems.

I asked you or i said the in the first mail on this, whats the output of
cat /proc/pci ????
If there is no return for the card then your BIOS is set incorrectly and not
even windows will recocnise the card period.
