There should be a way to decrease the buffering (main memory) it uses.  The
less it uses, the more it will  break up, but there will be more memory for
other programs...  How much CPU and memory do you have working for ya?

Also mpg123, which runs on the command line, is really fast.  I use it alot,
it is supose to be have some part tweaked out in x86 ASM..
