NE2000

I have an NE2000 compatible network card, Redhat 5.2 would not recognize 
it during installation.  I've tried setting the jumpers to an IRQ that is
not being used.  Any ideas?  How-To's?  man pages?  I don't even know
where to start config'ing.
Any help is appreciated.
