Do you speak of ISA or PCI cards?
if (PCI) {
enable all drivers that you think may be able to fit your card,
then reboot. If the NIC is recognized (ifconfig), then try to
find out (using the boot messages dmesg prints), which driver
did the job.
} elsif (ISA) {
enable loadable modules and compile all drivers as modules. Try
to insert them with modprobe each in turn.
} else {
I've got no clue... :-(
}
