problem installing the rpm...

hai all,
I have a problem  in installing libc5-5.4.46.src.rpm in my rh 6.0
system..the rpm is not getting installed. I tried with gnome rpm as well
as rpm -i <source package>command. But both  are not working out. Could
any one please tell me why its not getting installed.
