You should see that question as;

A 12 volt motor will run at 13.8 volts without problem, if you suddenly put
18 volts to it, the chances are it will suddenly start smokeing, its realy
the same thing with a monitor.

Radio hams have been experimenting with radio waves and digital
tranmissions for many years, most of the internet protocols are devised from
thier experiments and some are still used to this day.

Yes the cursor problem is a SiS problem, i had that also, now with using
the XFCom_SiS server from suse i dont have any problems with the card
period.
