Hello if you've installed KDE and are using kppp, you'll have a section
under kppp help that will tell you which lines to insert in your
/etc/conf.modules file to suppress those messages.  Unfortunately I have no
idea what those messages meant or if they had any detrimental effect to my
system. All in all I never noticed any changes.
