You seem to be right in saying this, i normally run slackware (which is the
same as Ray mentions), Redhat does have a /etc/dhcpc directory but it
remains empty even when there is an established ethX interface established.
I used 'find' to search for dhcp files but did not find any, this seems
funny also, there must be a cache file somewhere or other.
I looked no futher so if anyone else has Redhat-6.2 running with dhcpd and
has an explanation i would be interested to hear where and how redhat
stores its dhcp information.
We both seem to be missing something.
