Hi Folks
Where do I define the name of my machine. Ie using the uname -n command
I get a name of localhost.localdomain, ie
#uname -n
localhost.localdomain
I have added an entry in the hosts table, ie
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain
192.168.1.56 grover
but it doesn't seem to pick up the name grover, where should I be
setting this name??
