I know there is a read only driver available in which you can mount NTFS
partitions.  I've heard stories of people having problems in which their
NTFS partition was corrupted despite the fact that it's a read only
driver.

I"m pretty sure we won't see a read/write driver.  Not because of a lack
of interest but because I think it would give Micro$oft a leg into suing
the coder.  I think it's not allowed basically.

Personally I use FAT16 for all NT partitions I want Linux to mount. 
It's less of a headache for me.

I'll look around and see if I can find anything more on it.  Basically I
don't think your going to see much interest in development... at least
until Micro$oft get's broken up that is ::grinz::
