Could you send a copy of your /etc/lilo.conf file? I also use a scsi
only system here and my problem is not scsi/ide conflict or sth like
that. I just keep trying to set up Linux on a scsi system. Everythings
seems to be ok during the instalation, but after the first reboot, lilo
hangs after "LI".

Well, on an IDE system I have no problems at all. This message is
written by the IDE system and RH 6.1 and I also have Windows NT on the
other partition of the same IDE disk - no problem. I can't remember how
I make it differently of that a lilo-NT-howto described, but it works.
Actually, I don't use NT bootloader to boot either NT or Linux, but
instead I use LILO to boot them and LILO is located in MBR. Now I try to
make any way of booting Linux on scsi disks and I can't manage that. NT
boots on scsi without problems, BTW.

I have read that and I seem to become more confuse than before :-)

It looks to me that you are a ham radio? If so, is it enough ham related
info covered by ax25-howto? I plan to set up packet radio bbs on Linux
(I have it under NT now).
