yes, but it can send mail out to the internet.

if i send mail, the mail keeps bouncing back into root. so, i think i may
have to change my
sendmail.cf so that it can send mail to somebody outside my domain.

i have that line ok.
but i can't do :
telnet myisp.iporname 25
( it says : connection refused . . . )

i have sendmail.cf, but i don't have sendmail-cf ( the last one with a
hyphen ) nor sendmail-doc.
the article "mailhelp" from
"http://www.moongroup.com/docs/mailhelp-HOWTO/c176.html" said
that i should have all the 3 sendmail directories.
i want to reinstall, but i don't know how ( because i didn't even install
sendmail. it was just there
when i install my RHL 6.1 ). i can't find the RPM in my GNO-RPM.
i wanted to try smrsh, but also can't find the RPM in my GNO-RPM. i can see
my smrsh directory
under /etc/ , but it's empty ( seems to be a link to /etc ).
anyway, i still want to have my sendmail being able to connect to outside.
