Tried it with these results. Not sure if I did it right tho...only been at
Linux now for about 3 days.
[root@localhost /root]# cu -l /dev/ttyS3
bash: cu: command not found

Doesn't exist on my install. Searched the whole thing for "isdn" and only
came back with one directory...no readme in it.
Found out some other interesting things though....Did a setserial to see
what results would be for S0-S3 (thinking only 0-2 would report something).
Here's what I got:
/dev/ttyS0, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x03f8, IRQ: 4
/dev/ttyS1, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x02f8, IRQ: 3
/dev/ttyS2, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x03e8, IRQ: 4
/dev/ttyS3, UART: unknown, Port: 0x02e8, IRQ: 3
Looking at the System Information IO-Ports screen I get the following:
02f8-02ff serial (auto)
03e8-03ef serial (auto)
03f8-03ff serial (auto)
These should be ttyS1, ttyS2 and ttyS0 respectively. Strange that setserial
reports a ttyS3 at
0x02e8 but it doesn't show up in IO-Ports. I can't think of any other
serial devices in my box.
Com1 and Com2 built into the MB, PacificCommware serial card (1 port
version) on the ISA bus. That's
it AFAIK.
Sla/n go Fo/ill,
Jim
