Hello all,
I'm having problems setting up colour depth with RH.
I can do it OK with caldera during set up and within the desktop.
The video card is a voodoo3 2000 and the vdu is a no name that has to use
interlacing above 800*600. I want to use 800*600, but I can't get it use more
than 8 bit colour at that res with RH. I even copied down the params that were
used in caldera. Caldera also does a much better job of probing the card.
Is there a gui interface for setting up the video in RH like there is in
caldera or has someone came up with a method like editing XF86Config?
I might end up installing caldera again and saving the config file and
hopefully use that if I can and can't work another way of doing it.
I use text mode to install RH because of lockups in gui mode.
