Hi,
I am using RH6.2 and have (had) a dual boot system using lilo. It worked
fine until recently linux would not boot anymore, only dos into W98. So I
used my boot diskette for getting into linux. Since I seldom use
W98 I decided to try to get the booting back into linux. First I did
/sbin/lilo and it dutifullyshowed: added linux, added dos. And nothing
changed. Then I looked into linuxconf and on "install boot sector" it
showed hda2. I changed that to hda1.
The I rebooted and both linux and dos showed up for booting, however, I
got no reaction from dos. Now I cannot anylonger access drive C: as well
can not mount /mnt/window, I get the message "wrong fs type, bad
option, bad superblock on /dev/hda1 or too many mounted file systems". In
DOS using fdisk it says System Unknown for drive c:.

I then changed in linuxconf the Install boot sector back to hda2 with the
result that now nothing boots anymore from the hard disk, it shows LIL-
and then hangs.

What must I do to get my C: drive back?
