Thank you so much. It all works again. Question, how did the 
system change to to boot sector hda2? I had not touched anything 
nor is there anybody else.

Just enough to have RH 5.2 installed and run without any help, then
a little help from you with 6.1 on the printing and now again a little.

How could I with such a support behind me?
