Yep, it has an 'off line setup'. It is an internal 'software' solution
instead of the 'hardware' type of dip-switches. About the necessity of
re-booting: I will try to just Delete and Add a printer.

No. On the other machine I have a HP LJ 4 Plus. It works great under
Windose, but under Linux I only got it printing properly some graphics.
A plain texts are not printed ok. I chose a HP 4/5/6 series,
non-PostScript. Other HP entries gave even worse printings. Any
solution?
