I cannot really comment on things like this as i have said before i have
never been a valid fan of the dos or windows enviroment.
However what i do to find a program is look at URL such as tucows.com

Corel is creating a distribtution of its own software, so one looks at;
linux.corel.com
and one will see that Corel quite possably has what you want for linux.
A quick look at corel's page mentioned is;

Wordperfect Office 2000 for linux
Photo-Paint for linux.

Sun micro systems have produced Star office as well, which answers most
questions on "office" software.

I think you will find wht you want/need on the above mentioned sites, if a
spesific program has not been "converted" to linux then normally speaking
there is a linux alternative it may be an exacht replica and not do all the
things its windows partner does, but the possablity of development is far
beter than for windows programs as we deal with open source.

I belive Corel have a commercial version which one can "buy" and get support
with consult corel.com.
I am sure Corel will answer any requests about its software for linux if
you ask.
