FWIW, I have the Deluxe CorelLinux which includes WP
Suite 8 for Linux. I also have Star Office around here. I
understand Star Office has a capable drawing program as
part of the package, but I haven't really done anything
with it. Anyone who has used Star Office for Linux and
could comment?

FWIW, I've never found a freeware or shareware prg - for
any platform - that seems to match the functionality of
either of the above when it comes to vector graphics. I'm
glad to see Corel moving to Linux - it's only a matter of
time before Microsoft buys some small company and
develops a CorelDraw "killer." Given that Xara is no
longer being distributed through Corel, I wonder if even
now Mr Gates and company aren't putting together a tender
offer for Xara Ltd.
