The only thing that I did prior to this problem was update my current version of
bind from the rpm at redhat.com and edit /etc/inetd.conf via the program
/usr/sbin/setup as instructed by Lance Spitzner from his whitepaper at
http://www.enteract.com/~lspitz/linux.html.

The following services are what I had stopped:
S05apmd
S10xntpd
S11portmap
S15sound
S15netfs
S20rstatd
S20rusersd
S20rwhod
S20rwalld
S20bootparamd
S25squid
S34yppasswdd
S35ypserv
S35dhcpd
S40atd
S45pcmcia
S50snmpd
S55named
S55routed
S60lpd
S60mars-nwe
S60nfs
S72amd
S75gated
S80sendmail
S85httpd
S87ypbind
S90xfs
S95innd
S99linuxconf

Some of the above services were not listed when I ran /usr/sbin/setup, however, I
turned off all that were. I have since tried turning them back on and rebooting
but this did not help.

If somehow my font path was changed or is not there, how do I fix that?
