How many times must we walk up the same road, ? if you do not show us the
error messages how in hells bells name are we supposed to help you.???
What happens when you type
/usr/local/Acrobat4/bin/acroread &
?????????????????????????????
Cut and paste the WHOLE error message to a mail.

You find it wierd, we find it strange to say the least, so yourself a
favor, help us with the error messages and we can help you, its as simple
as that. NO error messages no help. How can we.???

No wrong, slackware is just as GUI'ie as any other distro, its just that
slackware sticks to the origanal way it was when it first came out, or i
should say, more or less. It gives the users the choose, not like other
distro's that do things for you without even asking what YOU want.

Really verything you need is in almost every distro, read documents in
/usr/doc/* /usr/src/linux/Documentation/*
Bools are great, but why spend money when all you need is installed on your
H/D. {If a full install was done that is.}
