Huh--well, I'll happily stand corrected on that. Unfortunately, the fellow who brought me the R710s failed to bring the rails along (they're for a remote install), so I haven't seen them interact with the rails. It wasn't evident to me that there was any catch mechanism other than the recessed screws.
