Hi folks, I have a yum repository server configured which has an external connection to linux.dell.com. We are using this server as a Yum repository server for Oracle Enterprise Linux.
I'd like to have our clients connect to this server and install/upgrade the OMSA and firmware RPMs. I'd like to know how to configure the server to automatically download rpms from linux.dell.com and how to configure the client's /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources file and the /etc/yum.repos.d/*.repo file to get the clients get the rpms from the server? I have referred to the document http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/latest/ which shows me how to configure if you have an direct link to linux.dell.com but not through another server. Appreciate the help. Thanks # mukarram
