If the 2 drive are 2.5" and SAS, I think there are no problem (12Gb/s
SAS are backward compatible with 6Gb/s SAS like SATA II and III).
The hot swap capabilities for physical not hot-swapable drive personally
I don't care about it !
On R510 you need to unplug the disk server off and plug back the new
drive when server run to make rebuild star automatically.
