It would be nice if the dell repo took into account what is supported per 
server generation and didn’t publish a non-working OMSA version for those... it 
wouldn’t remove all surprises but at least this particular one wouldn’t happen.

We rsync the dell repo and do this ourselves by having another repo that the 
servers use. Curating and maintaining it is a pain, though.

I had same problem with PE 2950 III and I rolled back to OMSA 8.5.0.
