Nope. I can resolve names whenever I do an HTTP search, at least it seems as
such, but then I never receive data back from the host.
If I do, for instance, from lynx or Netscape, go: http:\\www.cycle-23.com, I
get a message saying it is looking up the name, and that was successful, but
then when it talks about opening the HTTP connection and receiving data, I
never get anything back.
The same is true for linux.org, ibm.com, etc.
If I ping any of these systems, it gives me the proper IP address back, but
then never comes back (doesn't seem to timeout, either)...
I am really close to convinced it is a hardware/software problem between the
3COM/RAS stuff and Linux' ppp...
