ip-up is not executed agter PAP auth

Hi

I have strange problem with ip-up script. If i using standart 
Unix authorisation(login/password) ip-up is is executed, but if i use PAP
ip-up script not executed. Why?

I'm using ppp2.3.5 and linux 2.2.1
