Had a look. Unfortunately nothing describes my problem.
I can not believe there is no answer to this.
I have read about a dozen or so different complaints about exactly the
same
thing (even though on version 2.2.0f and 2.3.3), but none of the
solutions
work for me.
Also when I call:
/AutoPPP/ - a_ppp /usr/sbin/pppd auth -chap +pap login kdebug 0
debug
This entry will put a_ppp in the utmp file
/AutoPPP/ - - /usr/sbin/pppd auth -chap +pap login kdebug 0 debug
^^
This entry will put nothing in the utmp file
/AutoPPP/ - @ /usr/sbin/pppd auth -chap +pap login kdebug 0 debug
^^
This entry will put /AutoPPP in the utmp file.
So how can I get the real user name to enter in the utmp file?
Regards
Bernhard
