It's possible, I can do it from home. With working TCP/IP you can
telnet, ftp etc., with working IPX you can login to NetWare servers as
from local workstation. Not only, that login to NW server with slow
modem will be time consuming, because client downloads from server
login.exe and other stuff. To see Win stations in Network Neighborhood,
you need WINS server. If your NT isn't WINS server, you can install
Samba on Linux mashine as WINS server (here is just this solution used)
and you can access also Linux mashine volume.

If you have working PPP with TCP/IP and IPX and working WINS server,
that all is only question of configuring client side (a couple of
minutes). Without WINS server most time will go to install and
configure Samba. In case of problems with IPX, take a look to my IPX
page on http://www.tartu.customs.ee/linux/lindex.shtml
