Thanks for the replies. From them it is obvious that I didn't explain
myself correctly for which I apologise.
In our office we have a network (approx. 150 nodes) containing Unix boxes
(Solaris) some of which run Samba, Novell boxes, NT Boxes, and many Win
95/98 PC's.
Users with PC's telnet, ftp, pop, web browse, etc. around this network &
through a firewall out onto the Internet. They also mount Novell volumes,
and NT & Samba shared drives.
The objective of a Linux dial-in server is to enable a user to sit at home
and use standard Windows Networking to connect to our site so that he/she
can use all the services they get in the office.
The TCP/IP stuff is easy & working.
It is the mounting of Novell & Samba shared drives that is concerning me.
Has anyone done this?
Richard.
