I use pppd 2.3.7 on RH 6.0 (2.2.5-15) to connect to ISP.
pppd starts with options: "demand holdoff 5 idle 300 ipcp-accept-local
defaultroute lock modem"
If I use ping my.provider to initiate dial, pppd connects OK, but ping has
100% packets loss.
When I cancel this ping and run it again (after pppd connected) it works OK.
Furthermore, any 'initiating dial' connection outside seems to has same
problem - it couldn't connect.
Have you any suggestions?
