no, i was just using vanilla pppd-2.3.10 out of the box. i think it came
with ms-chap support built-in. now, as i detailed in my other post today
(in response to clifford kite), i have patched it with an mppe/rc4 addon,
but still have no success. i will post the logs later tonight.
