Dear all
my problem about PPP connection between Linux and
winnt, Could someone help me ?

this is my PPP log file from linux PPP
* this is my ppp command line (I use null-modem to
connect)
pppd -detach /dev/ttyS1 persist local 38400
When I run this command i have some debug info :
sent [LCP COnfReq id=0x1 <asyncmap 0x0> <magic
0x788637cf> <pcomp> <accomp> ]
have some rows above
and in /var/log/messages :
pppd[3524]: Using interface ppp0
connect :ppp0<--> /dev/ttyS1
modprobe:can't locate module block-major-11
Modem hangup
Connection Terminate
Exit
The Null-modem is OK, because I tested it on two PPP
Linux box, It work perfectly.
I don't set any Authenticate method in command line as
well as in /etc/ppp/options
*In Winnt I set the speed is the same with the Speed
on Linux server, and the data bit is set to 8 (stop
bit 1, parity:none, flowControl:none)
When I click <Connect> in Dialup netWorking at winnt,
I get some debug info above at Linux server, When I
receive the Error : Your modem (or other device)
report an error at Winnt, I also receive Modem hang up
at Linux server
In Control-panel at WinNT I set the port and modem
with the speed is the same.
Thank you very much
