[Follow-up to earlier post ]
I had to confirm that I could boot on either of the two disks in my
RAID1 mirror. I powered off , disconnected each drive in sequence and
rebooted w/o incident.
Then I connected both drives and powered on and only one component of
each raid device was active. The sequenced umount/raidstop/mkraid seems
to work --- they are being resync'ed now. Problem is, root ( / ) is
also a raid device so I can't unmount it. Tried booting from CD-ROM but
can't mount the disks ( should be at /dev/sda and /dev/sdb ).
Is there anything I can do?
