I have a Compaq Proliant ML370 with a Smart Array 431 controller.
It is running redhat 6.2. Everything is running fine, but I found
myself wondering what RAID level the system was using. I'm pretty much
a RAID newcomer, so I was wondering how I would be able to determine
this information from the system. I don't remember the RedHat install
explicitly telling me what level it was installing.
I have 4 9GB drives, and it appears that it has mirrored half of that,
leaving me with around 18GB usable. From the Multi-Disk-HOWTO, it seems
I've got RAID 1, or possibly 5. But, I'm not entirely sure.
I know this is probably a really dumb question, but any help would be
greatly appreciated.
