RAIDZONE includes complete BIOS support for the Intel
bootstrap mechanism. You can use it to boot any OS
including DOS, Windows 95, 98, Windows NT AND Linux.
Using a DOS based RAIDZONE Admin program
you can configure RAID0, RAID1, RAID5 or
RAID10 (stripe/mirror) as bootable prior to installing
your desired OS.
Unfortunately, at this time, none of the commercially available Linux
products (e.g.. Redhat) support the direct installation onto
RAIDZONE. Therefore, if you want to configure a RAIDZONE
disk set to boot Linux you have to do it yourself by hand
(i.e.. not as part of an install process).
