RAID-1 support

     Hello,
     Our company is considdering using Linux (redhat 6.1) for our inhouse 
     e-mail system.  The question I have is, will Linux support raid level 
     1?  The documentation that I have seen seems a little sketchey.  Some 
     Docs say that it works well, while others say that it is still quite 
     buggy.  
     Can someone please clarify this for me?  
     Oh, I should mention that we will be using software RAID, not 
     hardware.
