Good documentation is hard to find for any software raid level.  The reason
is new Kernels are released more quickly than the documentation can keep up.
Redhat 6.1 *does* in fact support RAID-1.  I'm running RAID-1 on my Redhat
6.0 machine right now.

I couldn't tell you if you're likely to have a good experience with it
though.  I'm still trying to make sense if it all myself.
