how do I add new disks with 0.9 raidtools ?

I added 2 new scsi disks my system adn waant to tie them into a existing
linear array. The Howto says nothing about how to use raidhotadd, there
is no man page, and the --help for raid hotadd is less tan desireable.
What do I need to do ?. ...
